Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join the U.S. Department of Justice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the technical knowledge to assist in the delivery of medical imaging services. This position requires a professional with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will possess the qualifications and experience outlined below and will demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards in patient care. We are seeking an individual who is dedicated to delivering quality patient care and is passionate about their work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and maintain x-ray and other medical imaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  3. Follow established protocols and standards to ensure quality images.
  4. Evaluate images for accuracy and diagnostic quality.
  5. Work collaboratively with a team of other professionals to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and treatments.
  7. Provide patient education and instruction regarding medical imaging procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and standards.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Crt) Or Equivalent

  • Possess Cpr Certification

  • Ability To Operate And Maintain Radiologic Equipment

  • Possess Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology

  • Ability To Evaluate Image Quality And Patient Safety

  • Ability To Accurately Position Patients For Radiologic Procedures

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols

  • Ability To Maintain Patient Records And Files.
