Job Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is looking for a talented and experienced Writer-Editor to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and editing content for various communications projects, ensuring that the content meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for writing and editing, as well as the ability to collaborate with other teams across the organization.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in writing and editing. You should have a strong knowledge of AP style, the ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner, and an understanding of how to effectively use digital media tools. Additionally, you should be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for helping others, then this could be an ideal role for you.
