
Supervisory Scientific Program Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as a Supervisory Scientific Program Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating programs related to science and public health, and will provide support to the Office of the Chief Science Officer (OCSO). The successful candidate should have a strong background in a scientific field, and be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage scientific programs and initiatives related to public health, with the goal of delivering quality outcomes -Provide support and analysis to the Office of the Chief Science Officer in order to achieve departmental objectives -Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, and suggest changes to improve program effectiveness -Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate program activities -Research and analyze scientific data to identify potential program opportunities -Identify trends and patterns in scientific data to inform decision-making -Provide guidance and advice to other departments on public health initiatives -Develop reports and other documents to support program activities -Review and evaluate proposals for new programs and initiatives -Prepare presentations and other materials to communicate program objectives and progress -Participate in meetings to review program objectives, progress, and outcomes -Ensure that programs comply with all applicable laws and regulations
