  1. Lead and supervise a team of nurses in the ESEP/MP program.
  2. Provide direct patient care and assist in complex medical procedures.
  3. Mentor and train new nurses, ensuring they are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
  4. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the nursing field and implement best practices.
  11. Act as a role model for professionalism, compassion, and ethical behavior.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: A Supervisory Nurse In This Role Must Have A Current And Active Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Typically Required For A Supervisory Nurse Position, As It Provides The Necessary Education And Knowledge To Effectively Oversee A Team.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Supervisory Experience: This Position Requires At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Esep/Mp Guidelines: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Equal Employment Opportunity Program/ Merit Promotion Guidelines And How They Apply To The Nursing Profession.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Supervisory Nurse, It Is Crucial To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Lead And Work With A Team Of Nurses From Diverse Backgrounds And Skill Levels. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Stakeholders.
