
Public Health Analyst (Policy and Issues Management)
We are looking for an experienced Public Health Analyst (Policy and Issues Management) to join the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about public health and have a strong background in policy and issues management. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who is committed to making a difference in the public health field and is able to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, or a related field. Previous experience in policy and issues management is strongly preferred, as well as a working knowledge of public health principles and practices. The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must be reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze current public health policies and issues, and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Remain up-to-date on public health trends, initiatives, and emerging issues.
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate policy and issues management strategies and programs.
- Conduct research and analyze data related to public health policies and issues.
- Create reports, presentations, and other documents related to public health initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage public health policies and issues.
- Monitor and evaluate public health initiatives for effectiveness and impact.
- Prepare and present briefings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure stakeholders are informed of public health issues.
- Participate in meetings and conferences related to public health.
