Job Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a Public Health Advisor (Quarantine Program) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of public health programs and initiatives related to the Quarantine Program. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for public health. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, health administration, health sciences, or a related field. Additionally, you must have at least 3 years of experience in public health program management, experience in public health policy and/or emergency management, and a strong understanding of public health emergency preparedness and response. Knowledge of Quarantine Program operations and regulations is highly desirable. You will be joining a passionate and dedicated team of public health professionals committed to protecting the health and well-being of all Americans. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop public health programs and initiatives related to the Quarantine Program.
  2. Monitor public health policy and emergency management initiatives to ensure compliance with Quarantine Program regulations.
  3. Provide guidance and advice to the public health team on Quarantine Program operations.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with other public health professionals to ensure the effective implementation of public health initiatives.
  5. Collect and analyze data related to public health program outcomes.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to promote public health awareness and education.
  7. Participate in public health forums, conferences, and meetings to stay up to date on relevant public health topics.
  8. Maintain communication with stakeholders, including public health professionals, government agencies, and the public.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on public health topics.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve public health practice and emergency preparedness.
