Job Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a highly qualified Physician (Public Health) to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will use your expertise to work on critical public health issues impacting the nation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, a passion for providing expertise in the field, and a commitment to helping advance HHS’s mission.To be successful in this position, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, be board certified in a medical specialty, and have a minimum of three years of experience in public health. Responsibilities: -Provide expertise on public health issues impacting the nation -Develop and implement public health strategies -Collaborate with other medical professionals and public health experts -Maintain strong background in public health -Advise on the development of new policies, programs, and regulations -Conduct research and analyze data to inform decisions -Analyze public health trends to make evidence-based recommendations -Monitor public health data and programs -Communicate and report results to HHS leadership and other stakeholders
