
Physician (Public Health)
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Physician (Public Health) to join our team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a commitment to providing superior public health services and a passion for improving the overall health of our nation. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, board-certified in a specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, and a minimum of two years of experience in public health, preventive medicine, or clinical medicine. We are looking for a professional who has excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate must also have a proven record of applying public health principles in practice and a strong understanding of current public health regulations. We are excited to bring someone on board who is driven and passionate about public health and can help us to continue providing the highest level of public health services for the American people.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality public health services to the American people.
- Develop and implement public health programs to improve the health of our nation.
- Monitor and evaluate public health programs to ensure they are meeting their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure effective public health programs.
- Advocate for public health initiatives at the local, state, and federal level.
- Stay up to date on current public health regulations and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Provide education and training to public health practitioners and the public.
- Develop research and policy initiatives to improve public health outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote health awareness and education among the public.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify public health trends and inform policy decisions.
Doctoral Degree In Medicine Or Public Health
Licensure To Practice Medicine In The Us
Board Certification In Public Health Or A Related Field
Extensive Experience In Public Health Research And/Or Practice
Knowledge Of Public Health Policy And Regulations
Understanding Of Public Health Program Operations
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
