Medical Degree: A Physician (General Surgery) At The U.s. Department Of Health And Human Services Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Includes Completion Of Medical School And Residency Training In General Surgery.
Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In General Surgery By The American Board Of Surgery Or Equivalent Certification From Another Recognized Board. This Ensures That The Physician Has Met Rigorous Standards Of Knowledge And Skill In Their Specialty.
