Job Description

At the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Manager who is committed to making a difference. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to implementation. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement IT projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to implementation.
  2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  3. Develop project plans and timelines, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
  4. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Manage resources, including staff, vendors, and contractors.
  6. Ensure compliance with government regulations and requirements.
  7. Prepare detailed project status reports and present them to senior management.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
