
Health Technician (Clinical Assistant)

- Provide support to healthcare professionals by assisting with various tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients for procedures, and collecting and processing lab specimens.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Assist with patient education by providing information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations when handling patient information.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare technology and procedures, and implement them as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following infection control protocols and proper disposal of medical waste.
- Act as a positive representative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, promoting its mission and values in all interactions.
A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Completion Of An Accredited Training Program In Healthcare Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Clinical Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna).
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Government Healthcare Facility.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Patient Care Procedures, And Electronic Health Records.
