Job Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Health Scientist (Data Science) to join our team and help us protect the health and safety of the American people. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data science and has a strong technical background. The ideal candidate should be able to develop data-driven solutions to complex public health problems and have the ability to communicate technical information effectively.We are looking for a candidate who has a Master’s degree in a field such as public health, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field, and a minimum of three years’ experience in data science. The selected candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to effectively use a variety of data analysis tools. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working with public health data and have a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.If you have a passion for data science, an eye for detail, and a commitment to public health, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  2. Utilize a variety of data analysis tools to analyze public health data.
  3. Effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders.

  8. Provide support to other team members and departments.
