Responsibilities:
- Oversee the functioning of the Office of Human Research Protections and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures for the protection of human research participants.
- Monitor research activities and ensure compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other key partners.
- Prepare and present reports to a variety of audiences.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Office of Human Research Protections.
- Develop and maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating research activities.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints related to research activities.
- Provide guidance and support to research staff.
