Consumer Safety Officer

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is looking for an experienced and committed individual to join our team as a Consumer Safety Officer. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in consumer safety and protection, as well as excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and enforce compliance with consumer safety and protection regulations.
2. Investigate consumer complaints and take appropriate action.
3. Analyze complex data and draw accurate conclusions.
4. Develop and implement consumer safety and protection initiatives.
5. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and protection of consumers.
6. Evaluate products and services for safety and compliance with regulations.
7. Educate the public on consumer safety and protection issues.
8. Prepare reports and other documents related to consumer safety and protection.
9. Participate in relevant conferences and events.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and regulatory bodies.
11. Manage and coordinate projects.
12. Attend meetings and other events, as needed.
13. Travel, as needed.
