As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission by conducting and analyzing laboratory tests to accurately diagnose and monitor diseases.   1. Conduct and analyze laboratory tests to accurately diagnose and monitor diseases.
  2. Ensure all laboratory tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
  4. Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  5. Review and interpret test results, and report any abnormalities or inconsistencies to the appropriate medical personnel.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in laboratory science.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and quality control standards set by the department.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding laboratory tests and results.
  10. Document all laboratory procedures and results accurately and maintain proper records.
  11. Train and mentor new laboratory staff and students.
  12. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory tests and procedures.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with maintaining laboratory accreditations.
  15. Adhere to the department's mission and values and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Experience With Automated And Manual Testing Methods.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Laboratory Test Results.
