  3. Conduct routine inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of utility systems.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  5. Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs in a timely manner.

  12. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  13. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  14. Participate in meetings and trainings as required.
  15. Represent the U.S. Department of Commerce in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Utility Systems Repair And Operation.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Blueprints.

  • Must Possess A Valid Driver's License And Be Able To Pass A Background Check.
