- Conduct research and analysis: The Program & Policy Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on economic and trade policies and programs, including their impact on various industries and stakeholders.
- Develop policy recommendations: Based on research and analysis, the analyst will be responsible for developing policy recommendations and strategies to support the Department's mission of economic growth and competitiveness.
- Implement policies and programs: The analyst will play a key role in implementing policies and programs to support economic growth and international trade, working closely with other team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate programs: They will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies and programs, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for adjustments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: The Program & Policy Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, industry representatives, and international partners, to gather input, build consensus, and ensure effective implementation of policies and programs.
- Communicate findings and recommendations: The analyst will be responsible for communicating complex findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences, including senior officials, policymakers, and the general public.
- Stay informed on industry and economic trends: The analyst will be expected to stay up-to-date on industry and economic trends, as well as relevant legislation and regulations, to inform policy development and decision-making.
- Provide support for meetings and events: They will assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and events related to economic growth and international trade.
- Manage data and information: The Program & Policy Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing large amounts of data and information to support policy development and decision-making.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards: They will be expected to adhere to ethical and legal standards in their work, maintaining confidentiality and following all relevant laws and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Program Evaluation, Policy Analysis, Or Related Work.
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Analysis Tools And Techniques.
Familiarity With Federal Policies And Programs Related To Commerce, Trade, And Economic Development.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
