Job Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce is looking for an experienced and talented Mathematical Statistician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and utilizing mathematical models to analyze complex data sets in order to provide meaningful insights into top-level decision making.   5. Keep up to date on the latest developments in mathematical statistics and data analysis.
  6. Report findings and conclusions to senior management.
  7. Assist in the development of new policies and procedures related to data analysis and decision-making.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
