  1. Oversee and lead all audiovisual production projects for the U.S. Department of Commerce, ensuring high-quality and impactful results.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and teams within the organization to understand their audiovisual needs and develop solutions to effectively communicate the Department's mission.
  3. Utilize your technical knowledge and skills to produce high-quality audio and visual content for various events, including conferences, seminars, and webinars.
  4. Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of audiovisual projects.
  5. Train and mentor junior audiovisual production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  6. Stay updated on the latest audiovisual technologies and recommend new equipment or software that can improve production quality and efficiency.
  7. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to source necessary equipment and services for audiovisual production.
  8. Act as the main point of contact for all audiovisual production inquiries and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  9. Ensure compliance with copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted materials in audiovisual productions.
  10. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and represent the Department of Commerce positively in all audiovisual productions.
