
Economist (Research)
The U.S. Department of Commerce is looking for an experienced Economist (Research) to join our team. As the Economist (Research), you will be responsible for conducting research on economic trends and data to provide insight into the operation of the U.S. economy and the national and international economic environment. You will use your strong understanding of economic theory, statistical analysis, and research methods to contribute to policy decisions and make recommendations.To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Economics, at least two years of related experience, and a deep understanding of economic principles, quantitative research methods, and statistical software.
