Job Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce seeks an experienced and highly motivated Director of Technology Partnerships Office to join our world-class team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and creative thinker with an in-depth understanding of the latest industry trends and the ability to develop and lead successful partnerships between the Department and the technology sector.We are looking for a strong leader with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across government and industry, drive forward new initiatives, and to create a shared vision of success. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of successful partnerships, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Business, Technology, Economics, etc.)• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, technology partnerships, or a related field• In-depth knowledge of the technology sector and related industry trends• Proven ability to develop and implement successful partnerships• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team• Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsIf you are an innovative, passionate, and results-driven leader with a commitment to driving successful partnerships between the Department of Commerce and the technology sector, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead successful partnerships between the Department of Commerce and the technology sector.
  2. Create a shared vision of success and collaborate with stakeholders across government and industry.
  3. Drive forward new initiatives and create strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  4. Monitor and analyze industry trends and develop innovative strategies to leverage them.
  5. Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and partners.
  6. Manage and track progress of projects and partnerships.
  7. Provide guidance and advice to staff on technology-related issues.
  8. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners.
  9. Drive the implementation of best practices and procedures to ensure successful partnerships.
  10. Analyze data and provide insights to identify areas for improvement.
