  2. Work closely with senior officials to analyze and promote international trade policies.

  5. Collaborate with other government agencies and international organizations on trade policy matters.
  6. Represent the U.S. Department of Commerce in meetings and negotiations with foreign governments.

  8. Provide strategic guidance to senior officials on trade policy decisions.
  9. Manage a team of analysts and support staff to ensure efficient and effective execution of trade policy initiatives.
  10. Conduct briefings and presentations on trade policy issues to senior officials and other stakeholders.
  11. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to international trade.
  12. Identify and address potential challenges and obstacles to implementing trade policies.
  13. Help develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the international trade community.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure consistency and alignment in trade policy decisions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve trade policies to ensure they are in line with the goals and objectives of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Economics, International Trade, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Trade Policy And Analysis, Preferably In A Government Or International Organization Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Agreements, Policies, And Market Dynamics.

  • Experience With Economic And Statistical Analysis, Including The Use Of Trade Data And Modeling Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Represent The U.s. Department Of Commerce In Trade Negotiations And Discussions With Other Countries.
