
Administrative Support Assistant
The U.S. Department of Commerce is looking for an Administrative Support Assistant with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, who is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an individual who is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have experience in office management, handling a variety of administrative duties, and providing support and assistance to all members of the department. Responsibilities:
-Organize and manage the office to ensure efficiency and effectiveness -Manage calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel for department staff -Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence -Handle confidential information according to department policy and procedures -Provide administrative support to all members of the department -Develop and maintain filing systems for filing documents and reports -Create and maintain records and databases -Run errands as requested -Assist with event planning and logistics -Perform other administrative tasks as needed -Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field
At Least Two Years Of Administrative Experience
Advanced Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite Applications
Ability To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision
