
Social Service Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with social work team to ensure effective delivery of services to underserved communities.
- Provide direct assistance to individuals and families in need, including conducting assessments, completing intakes, and assisting with referrals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives designed to meet the needs of underserved communities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services rendered and client outcomes.
- Engage in community outreach activities to promote awareness of social services available through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing paperwork.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, partner organizations, and community members.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures related to social service delivery.
- Participate in professional development activities to keep up-to-date on best practices.
