Recreation Management Specialist

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is looking for a highly motivated Recreation Management Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing technical assistance to public and private entities in the development and management of recreational activities and resources. We are looking for an organized, creative, and self-motivated individual who is passionate about recreation management. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or a related field, as well as two or more years of experience in recreation planning and management. Experience in state parks, recreation areas, or other public lands is strongly preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think strategically to solve problems.
