
Counseling Psychologist
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Counseling Psychologist to join the U.S. Department of Agriculture team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing psychological support and guidance to our employees, as well as developing and implementing innovative mental health initiatives. The ideal candidate has a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, as well as experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. You should possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, be well-versed in mental health assessment and diagnosis, and have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.The successful candidate will have a passion for mental health and a commitment to helping our team members reach their full potential. Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological support and guidance to employees of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
- Develop and implement innovative mental health initiatives.
- Conduct mental health assessments and diagnoses.
- Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude when interacting with patients.
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Stay abreast of advances in the field of counseling psychology and incorporate them into treatment plans.
- Provide education to employees on mental health topics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
