  1. Perform security assessments of web applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
  2. Utilize various tools and techniques to conduct penetration testing and identify potential security weaknesses.
  3. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of current and emerging web application security threats and vulnerabilities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are implemented effectively across all web applications.
  5. Provide recommendations and remediation strategies to enhance the overall security posture of web applications.
  6. Conduct regular security testing and vulnerability scans to proactively identify and address potential security risks.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for web application security.
  8. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that security requirements are integrated into the development process.
  9. Prepare comprehensive and detailed reports on security assessments and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and make recommendations for improvements.
  11. Participate in incident response and handle any security incidents related to web applications.
  12. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on web application security best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Web Application Penetration Testing: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Web Application Penetration Tests, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Web Application Vulnerabilities And Attack Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards Such As Pci-Dss, Gdpr, And Hipaa, And Be Able To Conduct Tests That Adhere To These Standards.

  • Proficiency In Web Application Security Tools: A Senior Web Application Penetration Tester Should Be Well-Versed In Using Various Web Application Security Tools Such As Burp Suite, Owasp Zap, And Nmap, And Have The Ability To Identify And Exploit Vulnerabilities Using These Tools.

  • Familiarity With Programming Languages: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Html, Css, Javascript, And Php, To Effectively Identify Vulnerabilities In Web Applications And Provide Recommendations For Remediation.

  • Strong Communication And Reporting Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Produce Comprehensive And Detailed Reports On Their Findings And Recommendations For Remediation.
