- Conduct comprehensive and thorough audits of all IT systems and processes within the organization to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement effective audit plans and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of IT controls and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Identify and communicate any potential security breaches or risks to senior management and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to improve overall IT governance and risk management.
- Conduct interviews and review documentation to gain a deep understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, and processes.
- Keep updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to IT systems and controls and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to present audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise a team of IT auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance overall IT security and governance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In It Auditing, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Best Practices For It Audits, Including Sox, Ffiec, And Coso.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia).
