- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to protect the organization's sensitive data and systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect and respond to potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and legal, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Perform security audits and reviews to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Communicate security risks and incidents to senior management and make recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure a secure exchange of information.
- Mentor and train junior information security staff.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the organization's ability to respond to and recover from security incidents.
- Participate in the development and testing of incident response and disaster recovery plans.
- Continuously review and update security policies and procedures to align with changing business needs and evolving security threats.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Information Security, With At Least 3 Years In A Senior Or Leadership Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Protocols, Cryptography, Authentication, And Authorization.
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards Such As Pci Dss, Glba, And Sox.
