- Plan, coordinate, and execute audits for legal entities and geographical regions of U.S. Bank Corp.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's legal entities, geographic locations, and related operations.
- Lead and manage a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement within the legal entity and geographical audit function.
- Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and testing methodologies.
- Review audit findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective and efficient audit processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to legal entity and geographical audits.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive initiatives for enhancing the audit function.
- Ensure timely completion of audit projects and maintain accurate records of audit activities.
- Provide support and guidance to external auditors during their review of legal entity and geographical audits.
- Prepare and present reports on audit activities to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior audit professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Audit, Risk Management, Or Compliance Within The Financial Services Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Legal Entity And Geography Specific Regulations, Laws, And Industry Standards.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead And Manage Multiple Audits Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Senior Management And Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field. Cpa, Cia, Or Other Relevant Certification Preferred.
