  1. Oversee and manage the operational risk frameworks for U.S. Bank Corp.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the organization.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  4. Provide guidance and support to team members on risk management principles and best practices.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of potential risk and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  6. Analyze data and trends to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Communicate risks and their potential impact to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including auditors and regulators.
  9. Evaluate and improve existing risk management processes and procedures.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations related to risk management.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  12. Ensure all risk management activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  13. Prepare and present reports on risk management activities to senior management and other stakeholders.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on risk management matters and provide guidance to other departments as needed.
  15. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk management practices and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Auditing And Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Auditing And Risk Management, With A Focus On Operational Risk Frameworks. This Includes Experience In Developing, Implementing, And Evaluating Risk Management Policies And Procedures.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: As A Senior Audit Manager, The Individual Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Regulatory Landscape In The Financial Industry, Especially As It Pertains To Operational Risk Frameworks. This Includes Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines From Regulatory Bodies Such As The Federal Reserve And The Occ.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Role Of A Senior Audit Manager Involves Leading A Team Of Auditors And Overseeing Their Work. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Towards Achieving Common Goals.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Audit Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Identifying Potential Risks And Deficiencies In The Operational Risk Frameworks Of The Bank. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
