U.S. Bank Corp is seeking a Senior Audit Manager with a strong background in both Human Resources and Legal to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to HR and Legal functions. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has excellent communication skills.   1. Develop and execute audit plans for HR and Legal functions in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough and independent audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks.
  3. Provide guidance and support to audit team members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  4. Collaborate with HR and Legal departments to understand their processes, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for remediation.
  5. Review and analyze audit findings to determine the root cause of issues and provide actionable solutions.
  6. Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to HR and Legal functions.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
  9. Monitor and track implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  10. Provide support during external audits and regulatory examinations.
  11. Train and develop junior audit team members on HR and Legal audit procedures and techniques.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion while handling sensitive information.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of audit objectives and promote a culture of compliance.
  14. Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain independence in conducting audits.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for HR and Legal audit matters within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Designation Preferred.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Auditing, With A Focus On Human Resources And Legal Functions.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices Related To Human Resources And Legal Processes.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Auditors, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Within A Large Organization.
