  1. Design and implement new systems and applications to meet the needs of the organization.
  2. Maintain and ensure high availability of critical applications.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications and systems.
  4. Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Develop and implement security protocols to protect applications and data.
  6. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for applications and systems.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to end users.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for improvement.
  10. Lead and mentor junior systems administrators.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of applications.
  13. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to any critical issues in a timely manner.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to security and compliance.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to application management and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In System Administration: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In System Administration, With A Strong Focus On Application Systems. This Includes Experience In Managing Large-Scale Systems, Troubleshooting Complex Issues, And Implementing System Upgrades.

  • Proficiency In Application Systems: The Senior Application Systems Administrator Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Application Systems And Their Integration With Other Systems. This Includes Experience With Databases, Operating Systems, And Network Protocols.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Areas Such As Scripting, Automation, And Monitoring Tools. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Cloud-Based Systems And Virtualization Technologies.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of System Administrators. They Should Be Able To Effectively Prioritize Tasks, Delegate Responsibilities, And Lead Projects To Successful Completion.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Other Teams And Stakeholders.
