
Quantitative Modeler Manager - AML

- Develop and implement quantitative models for AML risk management.
- Lead and manage a team of modelers in the development and implementation of AML models.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of AML models.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of AML risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Monitor and review AML models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in all aspects of quantitative modeling and AML compliance.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with AML regulations and requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement in AML processes and procedures and implement necessary changes.
- Train and mentor junior modelers to enhance their technical and AML knowledge.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all AML models and processes.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay updated with the latest developments in AML compliance and quantitative modeling.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall AML risk management strategy.

Extensive Experience In Quantitative Modeling And Data Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Quantitative Modeling, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Models To Detect And Prevent Money Laundering Activities.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Aml Regulations And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Aml Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including The Bank Secrecy Act, Usa Patriot Act, And Ofac Regulations.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Role Of A Quantitative Modeler Manager Includes Leading A Team Of Analysts And Modelers. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team To Achieve Goals And Objectives.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Regulatory Agencies, And Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Strong Educational Background In A Quantitative Field Such As Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Or Finance Is Required For This Position. A Master's Or Ph.d. Degree Is Preferred, Along With Relevant Certifications Such As Cams (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist).
