- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats to the organization's operations.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to establish business continuity plans and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing business continuity plans and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to business continuity and risk management.
- Communicate with key stakeholders, including senior management, about potential risks and recommended solutions.
- Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on business continuity procedures.
- Coordinate and lead disaster recovery exercises to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans.
- Maintain documentation of all business continuity plans and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements related to business continuity and ensure compliance.
- Serve as a point of contact for any disruptions or crises within the organization.
- Analyze and report on the organization's resiliency and continuity efforts to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and assess potential risks to the organization and make recommendations for mitigation.
- Foster a culture of resiliency within the organization and promote a proactive approach to risk management.
- Handle any other duties or responsibilities related to operations resiliency as assigned by senior management.
Degree In Business Administration Or A Related Field: A Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Operations Management, Or Finance Is Often Required For An Operations Resiliency Officer Role At U.s. Bank Corp. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Business Principles And The Ability To Analyze Complex Data.
Experience In Risk Management: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry, Is Typically Required For An Operations Resiliency Officer At U.s. Bank Corp. This Experience Should Include Developing And Implementing Risk Mitigation Strategies And Conducting Risk Assessments.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: U.s. Bank Corp Is Subject To Various Federal And State Regulations, And An Operations Resiliency Officer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And The Ability To Ensure Compliance.
