We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Governmental Interactions Compliance Manager to join our team.As the Governmental Interactions Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our interactions with government agencies and entities comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes monitoring and advising on compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies.To excel in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of banking and financial regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   1. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures related to governmental interactions, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to governmental interactions.
  3. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and laws related to governmental interactions and ensure the organization is compliant.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and act as the primary point of contact for any inquiries or audits.
  5. Conduct regular trainings and provide guidance to employees on compliance with governmental interaction regulations.
  6. Review and approve all communications and interactions with government agencies to ensure compliance.
  7. Investigate and address any compliance violations or issues related to governmental interactions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
  9. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
  10. Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential compliance risks related to governmental interactions.
  12. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new compliance initiatives.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records related to governmental interactions compliance.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's compliance program related to governmental interactions.
  15. Represent the organization in meetings and discussions with regulatory agencies and industry groups.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Financial Institutions And Governmental Interactions.

  • Experience Working With Government Agencies And Officials, Including Knowledge Of Protocols And Procedures For Submitting Reports And Responding To Inquiries.

  • Strong Understanding Of Compliance And Risk Management Principles, With The Ability To Identify Potential Compliance Risks And Develop Effective Mitigation Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Regulatory Requirements And Expectations To Various Stakeholders.

  • Prior Experience In A Compliance Role, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Ensuring Regulatory Compliance And Implementing Effective Compliance Programs.
