Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters related to derivatives and foreign exchange • Analyze and interpret applicable laws and regulations in order to provide accurate advice and support the bank’s derivatives and FX initiatives • Research and analyze legal issues and provide advice and opinions on derivatives and foreign exchange matters • Negotiate and draft agreements related to derivatives and foreign exchange activities • Monitor and review regulatory developments in the derivatives and foreign exchange sector • Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel and other service providers • Stay informed of the current industry trends and best practices • Create and deliver presentations on derivative and FX topics to internal and external stakeholders • Represent the bank in legal proceedings related to derivatives and foreign exchange matters
