
Assistant General Counsel - Derivatives and FX Attorney
U.S. Bank Corp is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant General Counsel - Derivatives and FX Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, be licensed to practice law in the United States, and have extensive experience in derivatives and foreign exchange laws. In this position, you will provide guidance and counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters related to derivatives and foreign exchange. With your thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations, you will be able to advise and support the bank’s derivatives and FX initiatives. Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters related to derivatives and foreign exchange • Analyze and interpret applicable laws and regulations in order to provide accurate advice and support the bank’s derivatives and FX initiatives • Research and analyze legal issues and provide advice and opinions on derivatives and foreign exchange matters • Negotiate and draft agreements related to derivatives and foreign exchange activities • Monitor and review regulatory developments in the derivatives and foreign exchange sector • Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel and other service providers • Stay informed of the current industry trends and best practices • Create and deliver presentations on derivative and FX topics to internal and external stakeholders • Represent the bank in legal proceedings related to derivatives and foreign exchange matters
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Juris Doctorate Degree From An Accredited Law School
At Least Years Of Experience In Derivatives And Fx Law
Knowledge Of The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform And Consumer Protection Act
Familiarity With U.s. Bank Corp Policies And Procedures
