  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the API platform to ensure smooth functioning and availability.
  2. Lead a team of production support engineers, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  3. Develop and implement processes and procedures to monitor and maintain the health and performance of the API platform.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and infrastructure, to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  5. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize the performance and stability of the API platform.
  6. Communicate with internal stakeholders, such as business partners and senior management, to provide updates on the status of production issues and resolutions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the API platform and its support processes.
  8. Manage and prioritize a backlog of production support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of the production support team and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the API platform and develop contingency plans to minimize downtime.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-training among team members.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for the API platform, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and abilities.
  14. Manage vendor relationships for third-party tools and services used in the support of the API platform.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and compliance standards, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data on the API platform.
