Accounting Specialist (Fixed Assets)

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and maintain all fixed asset accounting activities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports related to fixed asset accounting.
3. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all fixed asset accounting entries.
4. Reconcile fixed asset accounts and identify discrepancies.
5. Monitor and review fixed asset accounting processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of fixed assets.
7. Perform periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets.
8. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding fixed asset accounting processes.
9. Assist in the development of policies and procedures for fixed asset accounting.
10. Assist with year-end audit procedures related to fixed asset accounting.
