Job Description

U.S. Bank Corp is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist (Fixed Assets) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Fixed Assets accounting, including maintaining and reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a Fixed Assets Accounting role. Knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting standards is also required. If you possess the skills and qualifications we are seeking, we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of Fixed Assets accounting including maintaining and reconciling accounts.
  2. Analyze financial data and prepare reports.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce errors.
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  5. Develop and maintain records of all Fixed Assets transactions.
  6. Monitor asset utilization and depreciation.
  7. Review and reconcile balance sheets.
  8. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  9. Prepare audit documents and respond to inquiries from auditors.
  10. Provide financial advice to other departments.
