- Manage the entire procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and finalizing purchases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to identify potential cost savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Conduct research and gather information to identify potential new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to continuously improve procurement processes.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Participate in the development and execution of procurement strategies to support the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Train and mentor junior procurement staff to develop their skills and knowledge in supply chain management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Food Or Agriculture Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Including Sourcing, Negotiation, And Supplier Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
Proven Track Record Of Cost Savings And Driving Efficiency In Procurement Operations.
