  1. Design and develop data infrastructure and systems to support business operations.
  2. Maintain and optimize data pipelines and databases to ensure efficient data processing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot data issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  5. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in the data engineering field.
  7. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members.
  8. Conduct data analysis and create reports to drive business insights.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  11. Mentor and train junior data engineers.
  12. Manage project timelines and deliverables.
  13. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on data engineering best practices.
  15. Continuously review and improve data infrastructure and systems for scalability and performance.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Data Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Etl Processes, And Data Warehousing.

  • Expertise In Data Manipulation And Analysis Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Data Manipulation And Analysis Tools Such As Sql, Python, And R. They Should Also Have Experience With Cloud-Based Data Platforms Such As Aws And Azure.

  • Strong Understanding Of Database Design And Management: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing And Managing Databases, Including Relational Databases, Nosql Databases, And Data Lakes. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Data Security And Governance Best Practices.

  • Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team: As A Senior Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Data Engineers. Therefore, Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Business Acumen And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Business Needs And Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Data-Related Problems. They Should Also Have A Strategic Mindset To Drive Data-Driven Decision Making Within The Organization.
