Senior IT Auditor

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior IT Auditor to join the Tyson Foods team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to help Tyson Foods achieve its goals of operating with the highest ethical standards, while utilizing the latest auditing technology. You will combine your knowledge of IT auditing, financial processes, and compliance practices to provide assurance to the Board of Directors and senior management. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT Auditing. You must have a deep understanding of IT audit frameworks, such as COBIT and NIST, and be familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. Responsiblities:

1. Utilize the latest auditing technology to help Tyson Foods achieve its goals of operating with the highest ethical standards.
2. Provide assurance to the Board of Directors and senior management.
3. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT Auditing.
4. Have a deep understanding of IT audit frameworks, such as COBIT and NIST, and be familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
5. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
6. Monitor and review internal IT systems and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
7. Develop and implement audit strategies, programs, and procedures, and recommend changes to improve operational efficiencies.
8. Lead complex IT audits and provide detailed, timely, and accurate reports to management on audit results.
9. Identify and assess areas of risk, evaluate internal control systems, and document findings.
10. Assist in the review and preparation of internal audit reports.
