- Oversee the distribution of Tyson Foods products to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as production and sales, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor and analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to distribution and logistics.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize excess inventory.
- Train and supervise distribution team members to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Monitor and track transportation costs and negotiate favorable rates with carriers.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for updates to distribution processes and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new distribution initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits of distribution processes and procedures to identify and resolve any issues.
- Communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of distribution processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the distribution center.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics And Distribution Operations, Preferably In The Food Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Management And Inventory Control Principles.
Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Proven Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
