  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan for all Tyson Foods facilities.
  2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential maintenance issues.
  4. Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact on production.
  5. Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  6. Monitor and track maintenance expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
  7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment maintenance history.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in maintenance planning and coordination.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving measures within the maintenance department.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance activities and updates.
  11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
  12. Train and mentor new maintenance team members as needed.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Maintenance Planning: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Planning In A Manufacturing Or Food Processing Setting. This Should Include Experience With Creating And Managing Preventive Maintenance Schedules, Coordinating Equipment Repairs, And Managing Spare Parts Inventory.

  • Knowledge Of Maintenance Systems And Software: A Strong Understanding Of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms) Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Cmms Software To Track Maintenance Activities, Generate Reports, And Analyze Data To Identify Areas For Improvement.

  • Technical Background: The Maintenance Planner Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Hydraulic Systems Commonly Used In Food Processing Plants. This Will Help Them To Effectively Plan And Schedule Maintenance Activities, As Well As Troubleshoot Equipment Issues.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills: The Maintenance Planner Will Be Responsible For Coordinating Maintenance Activities With Various Departments And External Vendors. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Communication Skills Are Critical To Ensure Timely And Efficient Execution Of Maintenance Plans.

  • Attention To Detail: The Maintenance Planner Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify Potential Equipment Issues And Develop Effective Preventive Maintenance Plans. This Role Also Involves Managing Spare Parts Inventory, Which Requires Meticulous Record-Keeping And Inventory Management Skills.
