To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a combination of these qualifications: strong in-depth knowledge of security infrastructure such as firewalls, routers, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection; experience with security monitoring, intrusion detection, and incident response; experience in managing security operations and troubleshooting; ability to develop strategies, policies, and procedures for security operations; and an understanding of network architectures, routing protocols, and network security.
