
FSQA Technician 5 - 2nd Shift

- Conduct quality control inspections of incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Monitor and document food safety and quality parameters, such as temperature, pH, and moisture levels.
- Follow and enforce strict protocols and procedures in all aspects of food handling, processing, and packaging.
- Perform regular audits of production processes and facilities to identify and address any potential hazards or non-compliances.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and provide reports to management as needed.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues that arise.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on food safety and quality procedures, as well as any updates or changes to protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Participate in third-party audits and assist with implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate any food safety or quality concerns to management and collaborate on solutions.
- Promote a culture of food safety and quality throughout the organization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to customers and external auditors.
- Be a role model for other team members by demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to following procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new ideas to enhance food safety and quality processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Biology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Quality Assurance/Food Safety In A Food Manufacturing Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Fsma Regulations And Haccp Principles.
Experience With Gfsi Audits And Certifications (Sqf, Brc, Etc.).
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Train A Team.
