- Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner to move products throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Move products to designated areas for storage or processing, while following proper inventory procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to production lines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or near misses immediately to supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Training Institute.
Experience In Operating Various Types Of Forklifts: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Operating Various Types Of Forklifts, Such As Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Reach, And Clamp Forklifts.
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: The Candidate Must Have Knowledge Of Safety Procedures And Regulations Related To Forklift Operation, Including Proper Use Of Safety Equipment And Safe Handling Of Materials.
Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Forklift Operator Requires Physical Strength And Endurance. The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Loads, Stand For Long Periods, And Work In Various Weather Conditions.
