- Safely and efficiently operate forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Perform pre-shift inspections on forklift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of products.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently fulfill production and shipping needs.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and product handling.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during forklift operation.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge of forklift operation and safety protocols.
Forklift Certification: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating A Forklift In A Safe And Efficient Manner.
Prior Experience: Previous Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Industrial Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Loading And Unloading Trucks, Moving And Stacking Pallets, And Navigating Tight Spaces.
Physical Ability: The Job Of A Forklift - Live Receiving Operator Requires Physical Strength And Stamina, As Well As The Ability To Stand, Walk, And Lift Heavy Objects For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift Up To 50 Pounds And Perform Repetitive Tasks.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In This Role, As Forklift Operators Are Responsible For Ensuring The Correct Products Are Loaded And Unloaded, And That Inventory Is Properly Tracked And Stored.
