- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, or technical problems that may arise during the shift.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant findings or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and production staff to coordinate repairs and minimize production disruptions.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in equipment and technology to continuously improve maintenance practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Knowledge Of Machinery And Equipment: A Shift Maintenance Generalists At Tyson Foods Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Types Of Machinery And Equipment Used In Food Production Facilities. This Includes Knowledge Of Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, And Basic Troubleshooting Skills.
Experience In Maintenance And Repair: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Maintenance And Repair, Preferably In A Food Production Or Manufacturing Environment. This Experience Should Include Working With A Variety Of Equipment, Such As Conveyors, Packaging Machines, And Refrigeration Systems.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Shift Maintenance Generalist, Individuals Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Issues With Machinery And Equipment.
